The second half of the week I have been focused on getting my house squeaky clean. Kind of a “spring cleaning” in the dead of winter. I have a party at the house this weekend and it was really time to do things like scrub down the kitchen cabinets, wipe down baseboards etc. I was thinking, while I was cleaning, that it’s really a much better deal to do “spring cleaning” in the winter because who wants to waste precious spring days cleaning anyway?
The first part of the week I was a scrapping fool. I finished up my six GCD Studios layouts for the Craft and Hobby Trade Show. Here’s a few sneaks I can share now. The new lines really are soo much fun. Bright and colorful. Can’t wait to work with them more!
I’m even toying with the idea of going back to doing Project Life. I did it last year but made the fatal mistake of not committing until about the third week in January and then worked backwards because I was also doing a photo a day. Needless to say it got overwhelming being behind. I think it’s much better to work on it as you go. Things have stabilized around here, in that we aren’t moving anytime soon and so it might just be a good time to give it another go.
