I had one of those eureka moments when I took down the topiary and the dead vines that grew in these planters in the entry this summer.
As I was removing the vine, kind of trying to just slide the tendrils down, they made a circle -ike wreath for the pumpkins to settle into. Got to love free decor.
Here’s a closer look at the door area.
Our goldendoodle, Tucker is such the willing greeter. 😉 He wants to give you a hug, can’t you tell?
I’m so thankful for the hydrangea bush I planted last year. I needed an arrangement for a fall gathering I had at the house last week. I meant to stop at the store to pick up flowers. Thankfully as I was arranging the sign by the door, I caught sight of my now brown hydrangea flowers and knew they couldn’t be anymore perfect for a fall arrangement.
I finally got around to updating our chalkboard with a new scripture with a thankful theme, Philippians 4:6.
I do have one more Thanksgiving craft that also has a Christmas twist. I hope to finish it tomorrow and share as soon as I can. But be sure to check back tomorrow for another great tutorial.
And about that feature…
Have you ever found something in a Pottery Barn, Restoration Hardware or Ballard Design catalog and thought, “I’d love that.” But then you look at the little price down in the corner and know you won’t pay that much for something for your home, no matter how much you love it.
Well, Knock off Decor is your answer. Becky, also the author of Infarrantly Creative, features the coolest Knock Off’s found around the blogosphere.
And guess what? She thought my Furilicious Chair was pretty nifty and featured it this weekend on Knock Off Decor.
Please go check Knock Off Decor out today!! I know you’ll be inspired. I’m excited and honored to be featured!
