1. Hi Leslie, I LOVE the way your chair turned out! It looks fantastic. I experienced the same thing when I tried to paint a chair for L's room, it was a little too stiff. I ended up reupholstering it instead. I like the pillow you picked out to go with the chair. You have such great taste. Hope you're having a good week.

Debbie

 2. Looks great! I'm so happy to hear how painting on fabric feels. And I agree…who cares if it's stiff cuz it looks so darn pretty! Kinda like a great pair of shoes 😉

 3. Hi Leslie, Loving the chair:) Was it difficult to reupholster? Any tips on how you removed the back? Thanks!

 4. G-loo, it really wasn't as scary as it seems to reupholster. It's basically a big sandwich with the back fabric as a last layer, stapled from the inside of the wood frame. I can't remember where the webbing was, but it might have been right before the back fabric. It is much easier than it seems. Just take photos as you go so you can see where things go back. You can do it!!

 5. Oh, I LOVE the beautiful stripes!

I have used CeCe Caldwell paint on two armchairs and even with the Satin Finish to seal it, I don't think it came out too stiff. And it saved me the agony of a big reupholstery job.
