Happily, the busiest time of the year!

Wow! This month is just flying by.  We have been in full swing Christmas preparation mode since last I posted.  The holiday seemed very compressed for us this year, as we leave soon for our ski trip to Utah.

I really can’t believe I got all of my holiday projects done so early. I was honestly quite impressed with myself. 🙂  No excuses next year!

Because we will be gone for so much of the holiday, we decided to decorate the house, but not put up the big Christmas tree. (We put up a little tree and hung only our photo ornaments from each year. I love looking at the ever growing collection!)

I convinced the kids to build me a Christmas Village out of their Lego city.  They did a fabulous job.

The little details are marvelous.  The children building the snowman, the people going to church, the Christmas trees in the house windows and the lights hanging along the rooftops.  Absolutely perfect in my opinion!

We’ll be leaving for our trip and not sure I’ll update the blog while I’m gone. So let me take this chance to wish you a very Merry Christmas.
