We’ve got a full schedule this week with Halloween and a big Pasta party for the high school swim team. Do you have a traditional meal on Halloween?
Monday: White Chili
I ended up not making this last week. Will share the recipe next time.
Tuesday: Leslie’s BBQ Chicken Rub
It might be warm enough to grill outside, but I recently made this on my grill pan with press and it was still delicious!
Wednesday: Church Youth Group
Thursday/Halloween: Chili and Hot Dogs
It’s a tradition at our house to have hot dogs and/or chili on Halloween. With Fritos on the side and candy for dessert!
Friday: Cajun Pastalaya, yes I’m making another pot this week. This time it’s for our son’s high school swim team Pasta Party.
Saturday: Leftovers
Sunday: Smothered Pork Chops and mashed potatoes
My recipe is inspired by this one from Tyler Florence. I’ll share next week how I make it gluten free. I’ve done it before, but as usual, I didn’t write it down.
So from last week, here’s a link to my nice and hearty Chicken Tortilla Soup.
Enjoy Halloween! Don’t eat too much candy!!
