Menu Plan Monday & More Kitchen/Cart Island Sneaks
Let’s start the post off with another little sneak peek at the kitchen island cart Richard and I built recently. I’ll be sharing the full details and building plans soon, but this weekend we added yet another bit of functionality. There’s a ton of storage packed into this little beauty and a Fintorp rail and hook set from Ikea was the last little detail.
So now that I’ve got my island in place, you are wondering when I’m going to reveal this Kitchen makeover? Well, I’ve got a few key pieces I’m waiting to be delivered and one more little build project to do since we have to wait.
Not to worry, the kitchen is completely operational! So let’s get to Menu Plan Monday!

Monday: Chicken Cacciatore
And as much as I love Polenta, we are going to have it with some spaghetti and spaghetti squash tonight.
Tuesday: Leftovers
Wednesday: Curried Chicken on the Grill
Thursday: Out for Dinner
Friday: Chicken Corn Chowder
I’ll probably be making this very popular recipe from Paper Daisy Kitchen, Spicy Mexican Corn Chowder.
But, if you are looking for something a little lighter, this Healthy Corn Chowder, is also delicious!
Saturday: Burgers and Brats
It’s my husband, Richard’s birthday and this was his pick! Guy food!
