Spending the day on the couch….

I haven’t done that in a really long time. Yesterday, after a busy day finishing up the year with my Girl Scouts, literally from 1 p.m. until 8 p.m. I was wiped out. As the afternoon went along, I felt a scratchy throat coming on and about an hour after the girls left I was in full blown sore throat, pain in both ears and freezing. Went straight to bed and wondered what today would bring. I felt improved although still feverish and decided it was just viral. So I have spent the day on the couch reading my thyroid disorders book and surfing the net. I probably needed this day of rest even if I wasn’t sickly. Here’s to a better tomorrow!
