Menu Plan Monday- St. Patrick’s day memories

If you would humor me a bit here today, before I get to Menu Plan Monday, I want to share with you some photos from a St. Patrick’s day parade almost ten years ago.

Sure do miss a good southern style St. Patrick’s day parade!

I couldn’t help myself, I had to share this one.  Don’t the expressions of children just crack you up?  I wish I could remember what had them so shocked. 😉

I also miss when these kiddos actually fit in my arms like this. 🙁 Now they are teenagers who are definitely taller than me!

I can’t begin to tell you what my large stash of photos mean to me.  What a blessing it is to reminisce and thank God for the two wonderful children we’ve had the privilege to parent.

Thanks for letting me share, now on to this week’s menu.

It’s a short menu this week because we will be leaving for spring break this week. And it’s a little late because I hoped to share this new recipe with you, but the photos are mediocre, at best. I’ll wait until after I make it again.  It was very delicious, but the photos were not.

Monday: Chicken & Chickpea Curry Soup
 I promise to share soon!

Tuesday: Leftovers

Wednesday: Church Youth Group

Thursday: Chili Mac and Cheese

Friday: Leftovers

I’ll be making a recipe inspired by this one, by Damndelicious.

I’ve got a few ideas to make it cheesier! Right now it looks good, but more like chili with noodles instead of mac and cheese with chili, which sounds better to me. 😉  I’ll share if it works out like I hope.

Have a great week! We are looking forward to heading south to visit our new home in Birmingham!!
