My Favorite thing from Ikea and more revealing Kitchen Sneaks!

Today I’m sharing my absolute best buy, favorite, most useful item I have ever purchased at Ikea.  Granted, I’ve only been to Ikea a grand total of three or four times in my life, but still I can speak with absolute certainty that this is the best thing ever!

I present to you the Bekvam step stool.

This stool a must-have for reaching items in the kitchen, especially in these tall cabinets and most especially since I’m a whopping 5’1″ tall.  (Take in your more revealing sneak peak of the almost complete kitchen remodel.)

Like most things from Ikea the design is flawless.  It’s sturdy, easy to move with the hand hole and light weight.  Yet, I always feel very sure-footed.

I love it so much that I nearly forced my best friend Dana on our recent trip to Atlanta for the Haven Conference to buy one.

She stained hers with Varathane wood stain in Weathered Grey and has made good use of it in her removal of popcorn ceiling in her son’s room.  I also forced her to send me photos of her stool.  I can be pretty persuasive.

Looks great doesn’t it? I plan to paint or stain mine as well, but I’m waiting to complete the kitchen to decide what color would look best.

And even if you can’t get to Ikea, I see that it can be purchased online as well.

Despite the way I’m gushing over this product, Ikea has no idea who I am.  But I really, really think you need this in your life!
