Touches of spring are still sprouting up around our house and honestly I couldn’t be happier about it.
I created this spring woodland wreath to greet our friends and family as they come through the front door. While it is very understated it definitely feels like something I would see on a hike on the trail just down the road from our house.
The simple, organic, fern and fauna nature ties in perfectly with the look I created for the mantle. (Yes, this is real-life with a puppy in the house.)
I thought the best way to share about how to create this wreath was to create a short video. I’d love for you to watch and see how easy it was to make!

March 21, 2019 at 12:08 pmWhat a pretty wreath Leslie! I love that you’ve incorporated ferns. Here in Utah, ferns aren’t native to our landscape and can be a bit hard to keep alive in our dry weather, but I sure love them! It’s so fun participating in this series with you! I’ve pinned your wreath to my favorite wreath board to share with others!
